This course is designed for practitioners who are ready to take on more advanced roles within aesthetics, balancing practical skills with in-depth theoretical knowledge. The Level 5 qualification strengthens understanding of advanced skin treatments, ageing processes, legal and regulatory responsibilities, and professional standards, ensuring learners practise safely, ethically, and collaboratively within a clinical environment.

Your training begins with a Zoom introduction with your allocated tutor. During this session, your learning calendar will be planned, including all guided learning and theory sessions delivered via Zoom. Theory sessions are typically scheduled in the evening to support learning around working hours. These sessions are mandatory and supported by structured reading materials and theory work for each unit. Practical sessions, written assessments and oral assessments are completed throughout the qualification as part of your guided learning with your tutor. Practical training sessions will usually take place towards the end of the programme, with plenty of notice provided to allow time for travel and preparation. You are required to attend the academy for: Practical assessment sessions Internal quality assurance External quality assurance visits Where appropriate, case studies may be completed within your own clinic setting to support your portfolio of evidence.
