The Cryotherapy CPD course focuses on the safe and effective use of cryotherapy for the treatment of suitable skin lesions within clinical practice. Designed to build confidence in assessment and application, this course ensures practitioners understand both when and when not to treat. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their insurance covers them to carry out this treatment before booking. No refunds will be issued if a course is booked and the student is unable to obtain appropriate insurance cover.

Training covers: Lesion recognition and suitability assessment Safe cryotherapy protocols and techniques Managing patient expectations and aftercare Risk awareness and contraindications An optional professional cryotherapy device is available, allowing immediate integration into practice following training. Cryotherapy can be used to safely treat and remove a variety of benign skin lesions and minor skin concerns by freezing the unwanted tissue. Common conditions treated with cryotherapy: Skin tags Warts Verrucas Age spots/sun spots Cherry angiomas (red blood spots) Seborrhoeic keratosis (raised benign skin growths) Certain benign moles Milia (in some cases) Small benign skin lesions or irregularities

This course is delivered as a one-day training programme.

Most insurance providers require applicants to hold Beauty Level 3, be a medical professional, or have aesthetics experience.
