Focus - Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning is designed to equip learners with the advanced skills and knowledge required to deliver professional dermaplaning treatments and carry out in-depth skin assessments safely and effectively within the aesthetics sector. This recognised qualification supports practitioners in developing technical confidence and clinical competence in advanced skin treatments, meeting the expectations of clinics and the wider aesthetics industry. The course is ideal for those progressing from Level 3 or with relevant experience, and provides a clear pathway towards Level 5 Aesthetics qualifications.

This programme focuses on advancing both practical skill and clinical understanding, ensuring learners can confidently assess the skin and deliver dermaplaning treatments to a professional standard. Training is delivered through a combination of structured teaching, hands-on practice, and supported self-study, allowing you to develop competence at an appropriate pace.

As part of the qualification, you will attend the academy on two separate days, spaced approximately one month apart. Training Day (Day One): In-depth dermaplaning training Completion of three case studies using live models provided by the academy Issuance of course workbooks to be completed in your own time Workbooks contain guided questions designed to support learning and must be completed prior to the assessment day. Assessment Day (Day Two): Practical assessment using three live models, provided by the academy Demonstration of competence in dermaplaning treatments and skin assessment This structured approach allows time for reflection, study, and skill refinement between training and assessment.
